Step 5. Make More Money

I know you can't wait to move around. Ok, lets find and capture some Oil Derricks. You will face a few Stinger Sites around the Oil Derricks. Again, don't rush. You have plenty of time. Take them down one by one.

After the area is clear, send your soldier to capture the Oil Derrick. Please note that the Scud Storm will destroy it if it is belong to you. To get maximum $, capture it right after the Scud Storm is launched. You got $1,000 right after you capture it. $200 thereafter, every 12 seconds. You can earn about $3,000 to $4,000 before it is destroyed by Scud Storm. After capturing 4 Oil Derricks, you should earn more than $12,000. By now, you should get at least $12,000 + $5,000 = $17,000, which is enough to start up a base quickly.

If your enemy tries to capture your Oil Derrick, do not stop them. The Scud Storm will not attack the Oil Derrick belong to GLA, so it will survive longer time. Later capture it back again and earn more $.

I advise you to destroy the Reinforcement Pad on the mountain. If you don't do so, GLA will get free supply of quad cannon every 5 minutes. It will be very bad to your Helix (see picture below).

Another Income Source...
Look for the weakest point in enemy defense. Try to clear a path for your soldier to move into enemy base. Capture the enemy building and sell it.
