Step 6. Capture GLA Command Center (Most Fun!!!)

The mission is to capture a GLA Command Center, make a GLA worker and take him away for later use. I will use him to build our base. Yes, a GLA base.

Why Build GLA Base?

• GLA base do not need power supply, so we can start up many structures right away FAST. They are cheaper to build.
• Different from China base, if not hit directly, most GLA structures can survive the Scud Storm attack and auto-rebuild itself, making it less vulnerable to Scud Storm.
• You can use Tunnel Network to protect your ground units from Scud Storm and Anthrax Bomb Drop.
• You can camouflage the GLA building, so you don't need to worry about the Sneak Attack, Rocket Buggy and Rebel Ambush. I don't think they bring a Radar Van with them to detect stealth units.
• You will get the best from both China and GLA weapons.

Ok, lets start. Below is the least resistant route to their Command Center. Please note the green X, the enemy defense.

Again, do it slowly. Destroy one site at a time, escape and take full recovery, then come back for next target.

Once you reach their Command Center, drop a soldier to capture the building. After the building is captured, make a GLA worker and take him away. Now go back to your base. You may sell the captured Command Center. Below is the picture of a GLA worker going to Helix.

Special Note for Advanced Infantry General
If you are using Advanced Infantry General and don't have a Helix which can detect stealth building, how to capture the stealth building? Ok, here is a trick. Drop a soldier and a rocket soldier. Select the Rocket Soldier, hold down the CTRL key (cursor will turn into an animated red arrow) and click on a spot near to the Command Center. By doing so, the rocket soldier will attack the spot continuously, even though he sees nothing there. If the Command Center was hit, it will show up and you can capture it (see picture below). You may need to try a few times to fire to the right spot.
